What is PromptPay?
PromptPay (พร้อมเพย์) is Thailand's national instant payment infrastructure, run by the Bank of Thailand and the Thai Bankers' Association. How to Send Money with PromptPay

Open your Thai banking app
- 2
Tap "Transfer" or "โอนเงิน"
- 3
Select "PromptPay" as transfer type
- 4
Enter recipient's phone number or national ID
- 5
Enter amount in Thai Baht
- 6
Review recipient name (bank shows it automatically)

Confirm with PIN or biometric
- 8
Transfer complete – instant!
How to Pay at a Merchant (Scan QR)

Look for the PromptPay / Thai QR Payment sticker
- 2
Open your banking app
- 3
Tap "Scan QR" or "สแกน QR"
- 4
Point camera at the QR code
- 5
Amount shown (or enter manually)
- 6
Confirm merchant name

Enter PIN / use fingerprint

Done! Merchant receives notification
